DIHAC study collaboration with Belgian Ageing Studies (BAS), Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium

Professor Dr Nico De Witte, PhD, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences – Belgian Ageing Studies (BAS) research group has been invited to Ochanomizu Campus, Juntendo University to give a lecture organized by the Department of Global Health Research, Graduate School of Medicine, Juntendo University, Digitally Inclusive Healthy Ageing Communities (DIHAC) study Principal Investigator, Associate Professor Myo Nyein Aung.

Professor De Witte is the co-founder of the Belgian Ageing Studies since 2002. His work focuses on enhancing the quality of life for older adults through evidence-based research and policy recommendations. We were honored to have him chaired the 24th Digitally Inclusive, Healthy Ageing Communities (DIHAC) Study Cross-cultural Exchange Meeting where the results of Belgian Ageing Studies were presented. In upcoming special invited lecture, Professor De Witte will discuss Population Ageing in Europe and in Belgium, and  the challenges for policies making and  implementation based on the actual neoliberal policies in Europe.
