18th Digitally Inclusive, Healthy Ageing Communities (DIHAC) Study Cross-cultural Exchange Meeting
Digitally Inclusive, Healthy Ageing Communities (DIHAC) is a cross-cultural study primarily based on Japan, Republic of Korea, Singapore and Thailand, and expanding to several countries through collaboration and network.
Human resources are essential need and increasing challenge to provide health and social care in the counties which are facing rapid population ageing. Systematic response to population ageing required sufficient and qualified human resources that range from long-term care workforces at the fore-front such as caregivers, social workers, care managers, allied health professionals such as nutritionist, physiotherapist, physical exercise trainers, and health care professionals such as community health workers, nurses, doctors, family physicians, geriatricians and many others. In this meeting, we will learn selected programme and project in Thailand investing to develop human resource for health and long-term care in responding to its fast-ageing population.
Chairperson of the meeting is Dr. Romdej Phisalaphong PhD, Minister Counsellor, Royal Thai Embassy, Tokyo. Participants are multi-disciplinary researchers, global health researchers, epidemiologists, sociologists, medical doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, NGOs, NPOs, and PhD students from Japan, ROK, Singapore, Thailand, Kenya, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, South Africa, Ukraine, the Netherlands, U.S.A and the UK.
