The potential of the older population constitutes a powerful basis for the sustainable development of the country. Such potential can be achieved through addressing the health, rights, and well-being of older adults [Aung et al.,2019] In this 22nd Digitally Inclusive, Healthy Ageing Communities (DIHAC) Study Cross-cultural Exchange Meeting, we will explore the digitally inclusive cross-cultural approaches to workability and accessibility of assistive/ welfare technology for older adults in Japan and Thailand, the two fast ageing countries in Asia and the Pacific region.
Chairperson of the 22nd DIHAC meeting is Professor Malcolm Field, Ph.D., Professor, Kyorin University, Faculty of Social Sciences, Japan and Waseda University, Faculty of International Liberal Arts, Japan. Professor Field has chaired and presented at several DIHAC meetings and is one of the investigators and advisers for the DIHAC study.
It is a great pleasure to announce the upcoming 22nd DIHAC meeting which will exchange evidence, initiatives and experiences from Japan and Thailand cross-culturally. We want to share this learning opportunity with our friends, colleagues, experts, scholars and researchers around the world. We would like you to join us for an informative and engaging discussion.
