 Digitally Inclusive Healthy Ageing Communities (DIHAC) study Singapore team researcher Elizabeth Teo Wai Choo, from Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS), visited Juntendo University on 4th October 2023 and 21st October 2023, 2023.  She is a master student doing her research with the supervision of Associate Professor Carol Ma, Head of Master and PhD of Gerontology Programmes & Senior Fellow (Service-Learning & Community Engagement), Centre for Experiential Learning, S R Nathan School of Human Development, Singapore.

 The DIHAC study team led by Associate Professor Myo Nyein Aung and PhD students warmly welcomed Elizabeth and discussed about the data management and analysis at the Department of Global Health Research, Juntendo University. Professor Ma shared joined the meeting through the Zoom and discussed theory framework for the next phase of the study. DIHAC researchers elaborated cross-cultural empathy framework.

 On 21st October 2023, Elizabeth also met CO-PI of DIHAC study Dr Yuka Koyanagi, and discussed current trends in healthcare, social welfare service and healthy ageing in Singapore, digital policy and the role of digital technology for healthy ageing. Dr. Yuka Koyanagi, Associate Professor Myo Nyein Aung and Elizabeth discussed and exchanged current research collaboration, progress and the way forward to advance the cross-cultural exchange in Japan, Singapore, Korea and Thailand and more collaboration between Japan and Singapore.
