DIHAC study team welcomed Professor Carol Ma Hok-ka for collaboration during her visit to Juntendo University, Tokyo

Associate Professor Carol Ma, from Singapore University of Social Science (SUSS), visited Juntendo University on 4th July 2022. She is the  Head of Master and PhD of Gerontology Programmes & Senior Fellow (Service-Learning & Community Engagement), Centre for Experiential Learning, S R Nathan School of Human Development, Singapore. DIHAC study team warmly welcomed her and discussed some possible partnerships at the Department of Global Health Research, Juntendo University. Professor Ma shared about current digital policy in Singapore and  the role of digital technology for active ageing.
The DIHAC study team led by Associate Professor Myo Nyein Aung and Dr. Yuka Koyanagi  presented current research collaboration, progress and the way forward to advance the cross-cultural exchange in Japan, Singapore, Korea and Thailand. We explored students exchange opportunities and shared about the curriculum design and teaching and learning between two universities. Associate Professor Carol Ma provided many insightful ideas and feedbacks to our PhD students’ research projects. We enjoyed the discussion with Professor Carol Ma and look forward to having more collaboration between Japan and Singapore.
